Skill Level Format
Open/Advanced: This is our highest level of play. Any amount of advanced players are allowed to participate on a team. What is an advanced player? This is someone who has been trained at a collegiate level or has the ability to change the outcome of the game due solely to their skills. Intermediate players are always welcome to play up at this level. We advise the recreational players to avoid this level.
Upper Intermediate: (2’s, 3’s, and 4’s) Only one Advanced level player is allowed to play at this level. NO EXCEPTIONS. What is an upper intermediate level player? This is someone who has great skills and tends to be the top player on their team each week. They may not have honed in on all of their skills completely, but tend to be a dominate player on a regular basis. We advise a recreational player does not compete at this level. All intermediate players are welcome.
Intermediate: (2’s, 3’s, 4’s) This is the majority of our players that compete at our events. NO ADVANCED players may compete at this level. What does an intermediate player look like? This is someone who has all the basic skills of the sport, but aren’t necessarily dominate enough to take over a game on their own. Players play by all advanced rules. NO MORE than 1 upper intermediate player at this level.
Recreation: (4’s and 6’s) This is our lowest level that we offer. This division is for true beginners. At this level calls are more lenient since this group is learning. We can allow 1 intermediate player for 4’s and 2 for 6’s. NO UPPER INTERMEDIATE OR ADVANCED players allowed under any circumstance.
Additional General rules:

- If players consider themselves “just here to drink”, it is not a proper excuse to play down
